Still at school I had the great fortune to try out a Waltner guitar. Shortly thereafter I got my own. Since then, I have hardly had an instrument in my hands that was so effortless to play, possessed such a rich spectrum of timbres, and at the same time was so well-balanced in all registers.

This flexibility makes it possible to perform music from the Renaissance to the present in a stylistically faithful and highly differentiated manner.

Especially in large rooms the guitar stands out due to its excellent carrying capacity. And it can easily assert in chamber music ensembles with other instruments.
